Early registrations have to be received before July 29, 5pm (Lisbon time), but hotel prices are only guaranteed until July 1. Late registrations have to be received before August 15, 5pm (Lisbon time). After that only on-site registrations are possible. The doctoral symposium is by invitation only and its registration is free. Tutorials with less than 7 participants by the early registration deadline may be cancelled. Due to room capacity constraints, workshop participants are advised to register as soon as possible to secure a place.

The member fees are applicable to members of ACM, SIGSOFT, and the CEPIS societies. Student registrations have to be accompanied by a letter from the institution proving their student status. Subject to some conditions, students may apply to the SIGSOFT Conference Attendance Program for Students (CAPS) for travel support.

As the official carrier of ESEC/FSE'05, TAP Portugal (a member of Star Alliance) offers 10% discount on economy class fares and 20% on business fares to participants and accompanying persons who buy their tickets exclusively through TAP’s website.  To make the booking, the participant should go to www.flytap.com, select the dates and cities of choice, click on Book Now and make a normal booking. To take advantage of the promotion, the conference code (IT5TPCG38) and name (ESEC/FSE 05) must be entered into the Special Requests fields. If accommodation is booked in a hotel, the first night will be charged as a deposit, and the remaining will be paid by the participant when checking out from the hotel. If it is booked for the student residence, the whole week will be charged. As for meals, we regret that we cannot accommodate dietary requirements other than vegetarian.

We accept payments by credit card or bank transfer, with all costs covered by the payer. Registrations are only processed upon receipt of payment and a confirmation e-mail will be sent. Please indicate on the form if you wish a visa support letter. Receipts will be available on-site. You may indicate on the registration form to whom the receipt should be issued (e.g., the name, address and tax number of your institution).

Registration refund requests have to be received in writing (e-mail or fax) by the Registration Chair by the early registration deadline, and are subject to a 50 Euros processing fee. If a hotel room has been booked, only 75% of the first night deposit will be refunded. Cancellations after the early registration date will not be refunded. Substitutions are not permitted.
